Who we are

We are the Charlotte team of 76 Fence North Charlotte, an independently owned and operated 76 Fence franchise. Our office is on Catawba Avenue in Cornelius, and our estimators and crews work across Charlotte every week, from the older neighborhoods inside Route 4 to the newer subdivisions out by I-485.

We built this site because Charlotte homeowners kept asking the same smart questions: Can I put a 6-foot fence in my front yard? Why does the city want a certificate when I’m only replacing a fence? What happens to the willow oak by my sidewalk? Good answers save people money and frustration, so we put them all in one place.

How we work

  • Free on-site estimates. We measure, photograph and note slope, trees, gates, easements and the condition of any old fence. No dispatch fee.
  • Charlotte-specific planning. We flag UDO height limits, CDOT certificate needs, corner-lot sight triangles, historic district review, HOA rules and stream buffers before you sign anything.
  • Locates before we dig. Every installation starts with an NC 811 utility locate request.
  • Clean job sites. Charlotte red clay stains everything it touches, so we tarp spoil piles, protect driveways and haul away old fence material.
  • Straight answers. If a repair makes more sense than a replacement, we say so.
