Charlotte Neighborhoods We Serve
Local fence guides for 40 Charlotte neighborhoods and nearby towns, from the historic wards to the newest subdivisions.

We serve every part of Charlotte plus Matthews, Mint Hill and Pineville. Each neighborhood guide covers what makes fencing there different, such as historic district review in Dilworth or Wesley Heights, creek buffers in Steele Creek, small infill lots in South End, or HOA standards in Highland Creek and Ballantyne.
Why neighborhood matters
A fence in Fourth Ward faces different rules than a fence in Mallard Creek. Historic districts need Historic District Commission approval. Older neighborhoods have planting strips with city street trees and narrow lots. Newer subdivisions have HOA architectural committees and often back onto stream buffers or greenways. Corner lots everywhere deal with sight triangles.
